By Air
Watamu is less than 30 minutes by road from Malindi Airport, which has several scheduled flights each day to and from Nairobi. Some flights also arrive or depart via Mombasa or Lamu.

By Road
Watamu is situated just off the main B8 coastal highway. Driving time from Mombasa is less than two hours. Driving time from Nairobi is around nine hours via Mombasa.

It is also possible to bypass Mombasa and travel through Tsavo East National Park on the picturesque C103 Road, which follows the route of the Galana River.

Self-catering Accommodation Rates
• Minimum stay – 3 nights
• Maximum occupancy – 8 guests (can be rented with Tarangau Cottage to accommodate 10 guests)
• Minimum stay over Christmas and New Year – 7 nights

Standard Accommodation Rates (6th Jan to 15th Dec)
• $605 per night for up to 4 guests
• Additional guests – $70 per guest per night

Christmas & New Year Rates (16th Dec to 5th Jan)
• $1,375 per night for up to 10 guests in both main house and cottage (5 bedrooms)
• Additional guests – $138 per guest per night upon written pre-approval

Check-in & Check-out
• Check-in from 3pm
• Check-out by 10am

Notes & Services
• All stays are on a ‘self-catering’ basis including the services of cook and team of staff
• Guests are responsible for supplying and purchasing all their own food and drink – shopping is available by prior arrangement and at additional cost
• The swimming pool and inside/outside water features are unfenced. Children must be closely supervised around the pool and ponds by an adult guest and should never be left unattended in any part of the property at any time
